In this role, you will support day-to-day maintenance activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to preventive maintenance efforts that minimize downtime and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to support operational continuity.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed to complete repairs and projects.
  • Follow established safety procedures and support a culture of workplace safety and compliance.
  • Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or facility upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems, depending on site requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems methodically and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping, work orders, and maintenance tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification, vocational training, or an associate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs or computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting production equipment, facilities operations, or industrial systems.
